A lot has changed in 30 years but, perhaps surprisingly to those unfamiliar with the industry, many high frequency welding machines are still going strong.
While there have been technological advancements, particularly with the introduction of PLC and HMI controls enabling operators to store welding programs to ensure repeatability. This with the added bonus of auto tuning and data capture ensures consistent welds and finished products. HF welding machines do have a long life with many of our machines still running well after several decades.
We offer refurbished equipment starting at around £5,000 + VAT up to fully automated bespoke systems in excess of £500,000 + VAT. The exact cost will be dependent on the level of automation and factors such as:
- new vs refurbished
- type of machine – track, in-line, rotary, or foot welders all have different price ranges
- capacity of machine/generator
- PLC/HMI requirements
- for track welders the length of track
- tooling requirements (do you need interchangeable tools for example)

For those customers who are testing/proving a concept, venturing into a new area of work, or only require a machine’s specific functionality for a relatively short period, our refurbished machines are an ideal cost effective solution. These are available for both sale and rental, with rent to buy options also available on favourable terms.
All new and refurbished machines come with a part and labour warranty.
Ingemar’s many years of experience in the high frequency welding industry means he is able to ascertain your needs and advise the type of machine that would be most suitable. Often this will involve meeting with you on your site to assess both the space and physical features and your technical requirements, alongside any existing machinery that you have on your premises.
