Our routine service work is carried out by our professional engineers in an efficient and cost effective way, thereby reducing unforeseen breakdowns.

We provide a detailed service inspection checklist for each machine serviced.

Typically a service would involve checking and inspecting (if applicable):

  • high voltage connections
  • valve and cavity
  • controls and components
  • pneumatic cylinders and control valves
  • drive motors
  • gear boxes
  • bearings
  • guide shafts
  • fluid levels
  • performance of the machine

Any minor faults identified will be repaired as part of the routine service visit where possible. Guidance on any envisaged future concerns or issues will be notified for your consideration.

At TTF we have one of the latest Industrial EMF meters with a combination probe to measure both Electric & Magnetic fields. We carry out EMF surveys at customer’s sites to ensure that the equipment complies with the recommended exposure limits, set by ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection).

We provide advice on machinery safety – safety measures such as physical guards, light curtains and two-hand safety buttons.

We also supply and fit over current protection and arc protection to your HF welding equipment. We can help to ensure that your existing HF equipment complies with PUWER 98 regulations. Typically this would be for machinery with a year of manufacture pre-dating the PUWER regulations, which were first introduced in 1992 and updated in 1998. For more information on the PUWER regulations please see – https://www.hse.gov.uk/work-equipment-machinery/puwer.htm
